waves and strong currents which control the area around Lisbon. The entire Serra da Arrabida
overlooks the calm Sado bay, which is famous for its big dolphin family.
The largest beach of the area is the Praia da Figueirinha, which is the closest one to Setubal.
This beautiful beach is very clean and has extremely clear water.
The neighboring beach Praia dos Galapinhos is the most photographed beach of Portugal,
due to its idyllic location and turquoise colored water.
Just as stunning and a little larger is the beach Praia do Cordeiro, which also offers several
excellent dining options.
